At the WWN Supershow: Mercury Rising 2017, the stage was set to crown a first ever WWN Champion in a Battle Of Champions Elimination Match as Fred Yehi, Jon Davis, Matt Riddle, Parrow w/ Drennen, Tracy Williams and Timothy Thatcher w/ Stokely Hathaway faced off. Matt Riddle emerged as victor but Jon Davis is one of the men in that match-up who can argue that it took a coordinated Catch Point effort to eliminate him from that match. Now, Jon Davis will get his one-on-one opportunity to face WWN Champion Matt Riddle at WWN & FIP present In Full Force 2017 on Saturday, June 17th at 6 PM EDT at The Orpheum in Tampa, FL (1915 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605).
