EVOLVE is at the dawn of a new era. The departure of Zack Sabre Jr. officially ends the era when EVOLVE was known for grappling and technical wrestling. The question now is what will be EVOLVE’s identity next? What is EVOLVE?

The answer won’t be determined by bookers, writers or EVOLVE officials. The answer will come from the combatants in the squared circle. For instance:

-EVOLVE now has two, new major champions. New EVOLVE Champion Matt Riddle defeated Zack Sabre Jr. for the championship at EVOLVE 102. His title reign is already well underway as he won the main event of every WWN Family event at the WWNLive Experience in New Orleans. New WWN Champion Austin Theory shocked everyone by defeating Keith Lee for the championship at EVOLVE 103. Theory then made history by defending the WWN Championship against NXT’s Marcel Barthel at WWE Wrestlemania Axxess. Will the red hot new champions define EVOLVE?

-EVOLVE is bringing in lots of new talent. We already got a glimpse of what Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel are capable of in the six man tag team match at the WWN Sueprshow in New Orleans. They will be joined by Myron Reed at EVOLVE 104 and EVOLVE 105. This trio is breaking out and now we’ll see what they bring to EVOLVE. They, along with other newcomers like returning star Shane Strickland and WWN Family rising star Snoop Strikes, wrestle a very creative, athletic style. In addition, there are the top players of Freelance at EVOLVE 104. Add in AR Fox with The Skulk from the WWA4 School and DJZ and you have an incredible array of fresh, athletic talent. Will their style define EVOLVE?

-Wildkat Sports & Entertainment is known for presenting the best independent wrestling cards in Louisiana. WWN welcomes J.Spade, Amarok & Jonny Flex from WildKat to EVOLVE 104 and EVOLVE 105 to showcase Southeast independent wrestling. Will their style define EVOLVE?

-Will something we aren’t even thinking about emerge to define EVOLVE? We’ll start to get the answers when EVOLVE returns on May 19th in Chicago and May 20th in Detroit.
