Allysin Kay defeated Miyu Yamashita at Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling on May 6th in Sapporo, Japan to regain the Shine Championship. The hard fought match marks only the second time that the Shine Championship has been defended outside of the United States.  This is Allysin Kay’s 2nd title Reign as Shine Champion. Yamashita made it very clear that Kay has not heard the last of “The Pink Striker.”  Allysin, in a callback to their post match confrontation at The WWN Supershow: Mercury Rising 2019, invited Yamashita to come looking for her in a Shine ring in the United States.  Allysin Kay will make her triumphant hometown return to Detroit for SHINE 58 on May 10th at The Monaghan Knights of Columbus Hall.
